Having a problem with the electric fan not coming on when engine gets hot but comes on if I put ac on then both fans come on and it cools down .

I read some post and my thoughts are a thermal fan switch so I bought it at auto zone ,
Just were is this located I think it is on the radiator but looking for exact position .

also is it okay to use auto zone 50 50 anti freeze

so crv runs ok 170000 miles bought it used has many new parts

just worried about the engine getting hot I changed the radiator fluid by just letting it drain and refilled seemed to be a little dirty green fluid and kinda murky but not bad

transmission seems ok 2.4 dohc runs well

only issue is fan not running when hot unless i put on ac


were is the thermal fan switch I have the switch also may need the plug if its corroded looks okay but radiator fans original but working

did not change thermostat yet seems okay

please any help is great if I can do this myself pretty handy have tools but if I need a shop tell me
