New to the forum!!! S2000 in need of a makeover...
Alright well here i have a 01 S2000...
Car is definitely not the prettiest specially since it was missing a few items..\
Bads
1. missing suspension
2. missing both fenders
3. doors and trunk had mismatch paint
4. bad clutch
5. interior had over spray from previous paint job
6. no key(no worries i already checked to make sure its not stolen, and im just waiting for title to arrive)
Goods
1. Clean title
2. Car fax was spotless
3. good project
During the week ive owned the car i was able to purchase both oem fenders and also Buddy Club full suspension.
Apparently previous paint job was "custom" and it would cost $3k+(quoted by 4 different shops in different areas)
What i will tell you next will surely make you cringe and cause alot of hate..
No i am not a broke kid and no i am not in a bad financial situation i just rather not waste that amount of money on this car, with that being said I will attempt to go for a rustoleum paint job. I am a complete amateur at painting and this will definitely be my first time attempting a car paint job.
I hope to update this page as much as i can for those who are interested in seeing how this project turns out. I know there are alot of rustoleum paint jobs and i know they have a terrible reputation within the Honda community.
I own a 26 gal compressor and purchased a set of paint guns from my local Home Depot. Im sorry i didnt take pics of how the car sat when i purchased but i was extremely unhappy about the cars condition that i had to start taking it apart.
Here are the pics of how the car is sitting in my garage at this time....
I will start working on car tomorrow morning as soon as i wake up and should be able to update frequently. I do have a very tough schedule and this will definitely take some time to complete. Criticism is welcome! Thank you!!!
Admin please move thread if in wrong section!!

So this is what i ended up with after 2 coats of primer and 5 coats of rustoleum. I sprayed it with a cheap home depot gun and it looks pretty good. Waiting for it to fully dry so i can sand down imperfect and then i will spray clear coat. Its coming out pretty well for $50. Of course it will cost a bit more since i will spray clear coat. Still missing doors/fenders/bumper but pretty happy with the results so far.
