Re: Member Introductions
names matt i gotta 97 Civic DX pretty much completely stock besides a short throw, ebay header, custom 2" to a generic muffler,(too many tickets with the can can't afford them anymore..), 17" 6 spoke flat black wheels, had a cold air but took it off, few other odds and ends nothing to brag about. from Iron River, WI roads are shitty so I'm not gonna put much money into the car, but know quite a bit about hondas due to having to swap the motor twice, stock honda internals don't like my driving style.. haha. hoping to help out with some of your problems and maybe get some help with mine if i start to build this thing. gonna buy a s2k sometime and build the crap outa it, but thats not gonna be for awhile.

Re: Member Introductions
What's up my name is Abelardo but I go by Abel. I'm from San Diego California. I work on cars when I'm not in school or hanging out with my wife and 2 daughters. I do a lot of general repair but I also get to do a little modding. I drive a 02 Jetta and 96 civic hatch back which are both stock besides the 5 speed conversion on the civic. My current and first personal project is a crashed del sol I picked up from a friend. So far I've replaced the rear qt panel and got it bar'd with a ls. Aventualy I want to try to autocross in it but we'll see how that goes.

Re: Member Introductions
Hello there everybody, I haven't always been a fan of Honda. I was impressed by them after repairing Acuras for five years. I am a bit of a "car guy" and have disassembled a few Honda motors and manual transmissions. I own a once beautiful Milano red 2004 Tsx that now has fogged headlights and is slowly turning pink. I chose this picture because this is the type of machine I feel I am driving when I am behind the wheel of this wonderful machine. My goal is to slowly restore the vehicle and gently modify the chassis and powertrain to be more efficient and perform better without compromising reliability.

I'm Jason. I've been driving my 99 GSR around Ohio for 8 years now, and browsing Honda-tech for nearly as long... I feel like it's time I do more than routine maintenance, so I'm finally getting involved! Looking forward to helping wherever I can, and sharing a few projects I have planned...

Hello HT,
My name is Prakhash, I'm from Canada.
I fell in love with Honda back when my Dad had a Milano Red 95 Civic Hatch. Many years later, I now drive a Supersonic Blue Pearl Integra which is my first car.

Hello everybody! My name is Devin. I am a new member coming out of South Florida.
I recently bought my first project car, a 1993 Honda Del Sol rolling chassis. I was looking for something that was turn key and go but this Del Sol caught my eye. I have been a Del Sol fan since i first learned about the car. My first car was a Del Sol (someone smashed into the back of it, totalled) and i plan to keep this one till i die. Its always been a dream i had to build my perfect Del Sol because these cars doesnt look like anything else on the road. I love the design of the car. I hate that they are so under rated, that is another reason I love the car. I wanna build mine better, nicer and quicker then anything else on the road here. I have a long way to go in the build and a lot to learn but I am looking forward to every bit of it.
When i saw this deal i couldnt pass it up. I bought the rolling chassis for $1500. That would usually be a lot for just the shell of a Del Sol but not only did this car come with the complete motor and tranny(not in car), it came with a full turbo set up, a fresh set of Mugen MR5s, Cobreau LG1 seats and a whole bunch of other extras i cant even begin to remember. Bottom line, i sold everything that came with the car that came with the car for $3500 and kept the shell. I pretty much got paid $2000 to buy this car!
Since then i can completely stripped the engine pay of paint and shaved it, preped it for paint. I got a break tuck to take the brake lines off the firewall and clean up the bay. Its been raining cats and dogs so i havent got a chance to paint. BTW me and my good friend and long time honda mechanic (at his house) are building this car. No shop, just us.
Whats going into it you may ask?
B20b with a B16 LSD tranny and a chipped p28 for now. I plan on keeping the build all motor and completely build the motor. After that, I hope to do a proper vtec conversion tuned on an s300! I want this car putting out sick numbers. I want to be able to laugh at people that pull up next to me and rev there enignes! lol.
When thats all done I am going to focus on looks.
I am either going to paint the car Med Metallic Sage Green (GM color) OR wrap it in a Military Green. I was going to go with black because it was so univeral and anything that i do with the wheels or so on and so forth but it doesnt really stand out. I will slap a wide body on it and throw some Bronze TMBs on it. Slap all new black interior panels, dash, new carpet and maybe some recaros on the inside.
This picture was taken when I first bought it.
Thanks for reading! I look forward to being a part of this site!

Re: Member Introductions
my ride is a custom three-wheeler with a 1988 Civic DX driveline. I used the automatic transmission with a manually switched t/c lock. The only engine mods are DC headers, Supertrapp muffler, K&N air filter and an adjustable pressure regulator. The trike weighs 1230 lbs. wet, so it runs pretty good and gets 45 mpg. Its 18 years old now and I am building its replacement. You can see it at andersondynamics.com

Hello; Just purchased a 98 prelude base. I retired from Honda in 1999 and always wanted a series V so decided to get one. I'll be looking a this forum for ideas and information, but you probably won't see me post often.

Hello guys. Long time owner of an RSX Type -s. Decided to join the forum to get some tips on my car. Need some body work done on it and rims are pretty pitted, I knew right from the start I had a beauty but I didn't take good care of it. Now that I am married, have a kid, and have another on the way I appreciate this car more as I was forced to by a family car (CR-V). Now I want to fix my RSX up and make it look like new again.
