ive had my civic for about 2 months now, i had a check engine P1163 but its been off a while now. When i plug in a scanner there is no history of the engine light every being there. The problem i am having is there are 5 incomplete "not ready" monitors. I've had the car a while and i've done about 3000 miles on the car and they wouldn't turn on. The other day I found a procedure to follow to do the drive cycle and make all the monitors ready. As i was accelerating during the drive cycle a check engine light came on, which i figured was a good thing because I figured the engine light would be for one of the sensors and the other 4 must have become "ready". after the drive cycle I had no gas so I had to go to the gas station. After gassing up when i started my car the check engine light was gone and when I went to autozone to use their scanner, there was no codes and the 5 monitors were reading incomplete still. I'm thinking that everytime I turn off my car the sensors must reset so they are never actually "ready". I'm going to try the drive cycle again with enough gas to get to autozone without having to gas up when I have the chance to. Theres really no good road for me to do it besides the taconic pkway and I dont have time to do it because I have school in the morning, and it wouldnt be safe to do it later because I need to decelerate to 20mph and i dont want to get rear ended lmao so if anybody has had a similar problem or knows what the problem is please let me know. when i can do the drive cycle again i'll post the results thanks
