I think all stock will work but getting a better clutch will be beneficial always. You should upgrade axles if you're drag racing especially if u r using slicks.

You will be fine with the stock clutch/flywheel but you can upgrade it anyways. Won't really do much
As far as axles go, you won't be making enough power to break the stock ones unless your gonna turbo it. Many of the turbo d series guys just buy the cheap auto zone ones cuz they have a lifetime guarantee.
The trannys are not really beefier. But they have shorter gears which means quicker acceleration
And either head will work . the y8 one will up the compression more then the z6 one

Depends on how you drive it, but under normal conditions the stock clutch will hold the power. If you are racing/launching often building up heat and increasing shock load on the clutch, an aftermarket replacement is a good idea.
Stock axles are fine. Id rather break an axle than a differential any day. Just pre-load properly, and make sure you have good motor mounts. If it comes time to replace the axles, I like the NAPA maxdrive axles as they are a little stronger thank stock and lifetime warranty
z6 or y8 transmission swapped in place of the tranny bolted to your D15 will be a vast improvement. the d15 tranny is such a dog, the d16 trannies really pep up the vehicle.
