DIY'r in Mid-MI
Hello from mid-MI. My first Honda was a '93 Civic 4Dr LX manual (and the last car I bought new). I put 290,000 mostly trouble free miles on it over 19 yrs. before I gave up on the rust and a bent A-frame (damn teenagers!). Amazing how much was original on that car when I got rid of it ($500). Also had a '98 Civic 2dr EX my daughter was driving when someone ran a stop sign and tore the front end off. I have an '03 Ody that is my daily driver (170,000 mi) and my wife has an '09 Accord EX-P (78,000 mi). I do pretty much all the maintenace and repair on these myself. I've lurkded at Honda-Tech.com for many years. You guys Rock!
However, I just bought a real fixer-upper, a 2000 CR-V with 137,000 mi., and I may have gotten in over my head with this one though. So you'll be seeing alot of me on these forums. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I'm also in the MI area, Novi more specifically.
It's good to see some MI people here. I haven't been much of a poster (as you can see from my post count) but this site has taught me a lot about my car (2000 Civic Si turbo).
