Starting a fresh build, this build will be focused heavily on a street-able track car. If you're into stance, this is not the thread for you. I received the car as a Christmas present as a bare shell from my friends that knew I'd appreciate the car for what it was.

Although I've never posted to the forum I am familiar with Hondas to an extent. My first build was a 91 DA9 that I swapped a B17A1 GSR motor in. Looking back I had a good set up but attempting to do my own wire tuck I ruined that build for myself. It was a trial and error build and I wasn't sure even what I wanted from my car but after constant research this civic build is going to be completely different. (Mind you I was 17 at the time of the Integra)

Anyways, the civic has no motor, no tranny, and is completely gutted. It was stolen and everything was taken out. My first order of business is to get new wheel bearings pressed in and some moorg ball joints, this will be done by the end of the week. They also broke the dash from pulling out the stereo, I'm thinking of doing repairs on it out of carbon fiber only because I am a composite technician and possess the skills to do so, but depending on costs I may just take a trip to the junkyard. Before I compete I will need to get full interior but I am more focused on getting the motor and tranny to get the civic up and running. My importer Matt from M's JDM Motors will hook me up with a compete change over, I'm looking at a B16A from a 92 civic xsi with an LSD tranny, I assume it will be a solid platform for road racing but having no experience at the track this is all speculation at this point.

I am open to any suggestions, pointers, or advice that anyone has. Help is much appreciated. Thank you for reading.
