I cannot believe anyone would admit, much less BRAG about owning a Prowler.
1. If you NEED a car to assist in pulling women you're a complete dork.
2. The type of woman that would be drawn to a catastrophe such as a Prowler?
Thanks for the laugh though!

The only people drawn to those things are people that knew nothing about cars but thought the prowler looked good. A turd in a pretty package is still a turd.

Hondas are made in Mexico too, bro. Oh and looks like more will be too.

[QUOTE=Maxbore.com;47170345]560 units in february and 536 in March.
Went to a large dealership here in Scottsdale, AZ, just a few days ago looking for a test drive. However, there were None In Stock. Salespeople didn't seem keen to sell me one, had no idea if any were coming in, and instead tried to point me to "anything else I was interested in." I left. Decided the two seats were too limiting for me.

My brother bought one simply for daily commuting, he seems to be happy with it. But he still needs a bigger car to haul the kids around in the weekend. He's into saving the planet, I guess it's his way of helping... But I get why the sales are not there for Honda

Meaning, he isn't into saving the planet, at all. If anything, he is only into looking like he is trying to, while actually doing the exact opposite.

I guess I'm the odd weirdo that likes the styling of this thing. *alot*.
Drop the hybrid and give it a K-series engine and I'd buy it day one.

Hate to break it to you guys, but this is all we're going to get from Honda, minus a really expensive sports car that they might release for a couple of years every now and then.
Honda is the only brand I know (especially here in the U.S.) that COMPLETELY thumbs their noses at its following. I know that some of you swing by their nuts REALLY HARD, but in reality, they hate us. They are embarrassed by us, and they are not interested in us. That being said, they also believe that we are SO DEVOTED to their brand that we will buy whatever garbage they put on their dealership lots. Honda is striving to be the next Toyota, getting to the top by virtue of producing BORING cars, at the expense of sacrificing the quality they once had. Look at the new Civic! It doesn't even make the Consumer Reports' list of reliable cars anymore. Those of us who have ever owned an EK Civic and/or anything newer knows that the quality has steadily been going down. They care only about dollar signs. They do NOT care about what we want. They believe that THEY KNOW what is best for us and that we will buy it. That is why I just do not understand the undying allegiance to the Honda brand from some of you. The new Civic and CR-Z are all you are going to get from Honda these days. We may see an influx of K swaps from this past generation of Civics but you will NOT see the same number of swaps done to the CR-Z. Frankly, I think that by the time the past generation of Civics get cheap enough to buy, the swap community as we know it will be dead, and by that time, they will be too slow in comparison to other brands. It is already dying, there is no question about it. If they don't get back to producing the very cars that sparked a generation of tuners soon, the Honda community will be dead. People will be flocking to Subaru in droves, and perhaps many will even go back to muscle cars. Honda sales will hurt, too. Those of us who have grown up and can afford a new vehicle now reconsider what we want to buy with our hard-earned money. Apparently Honda thinks they are selling gold because the price of a CR-Z is laughable at best..
If they don't get back to building cars that we love, and keep building cars like the CR-Z, and other cars that look fast but have the ***** of a 3-year-old, it's OVER.

Re: CR-Z sales figures... not good.
They need to sell this thing with a gasoline engine, plain and simple. Nobody wants a pseudo sport compact with hybrid technology, the idea is ludicrous.
I really feel as if the board of directors at Honda stares at demographic charts and numbers all day and is completely out of touch with reality.
Their current product lineup is absolute garbage.

Re: CR-Z sales figures... not good.
When I first heard of the crz I was really going to buy one. Had a new good job and had the money to spend but as I did research on it I had no idea what the hell it was trying to be.
Sometime in the future when you can buy a basic model for real cheap its will make a good project car. This car doesn't fit in any manufacturer line up let alone Honda's. A Basic 2012 model CRZ is 21255 for that price you can buy a Hyundai for less money more power and better gas mileage and warranty. I know a Honda loyal will say "but its a Hyundai" but remember Honda or Hyundai etc don't give a damn about you. They care about your wallet and you coming back and Honda is losing what caused people to do just that.
The crz is the definition of a hardparker, you can buy a 32521 dollar mugen crz from the dealer with zero changes to how the car performs from your regular ex model, Thats 1000 less than an 2012 evolution. Its the same money as a 2012 mustang gt, Camaro SS, 370z coupe.... most real sports cars when you think about it.
I know some will also say "this is a Honda forum who cares about etc etc" but when a car isn't selling than its safe to assume that people are buying something else and when you look at the competition the crz as its a current package is a stupid buy even if you are only interested in a bit of performance. Honda should have never added the word sport to the crz and simply called it the reintroduction of the insight with and optional manual transmission.
lets look at some of the prices, power and fuel for ***** and giggles
Honda crz $21000ex, 122 horse fuel (31/37)
Honda crz hardparker edition $32521 122 horse fuel (31/37)
And what maybe it biggest fuel saver competition
Veloster $17300, 138 horse Fuel (29/40)
and for giggles cars with more "sport" and value
sonata turbo $24895, 270 horse Fuel (22/34)
Genesis 3.8 rspec $27000, 340 horse Fuel (18/27)
Scion Fr $24000, 200 horse Fuel (25/28)
Scion Tc $18575, 180 horse Fuel (23/31)
Mazdaspeed3 $22472 262 horse Fuel (18/25)
and many many more
Honda is losing its soul, I am not sure what their direction is.
