Will ep3 oem axles work on k20a ???

Will ep3 oem axles work on k20a ???
So been looking around and searching for the right axle set up for a k20a swaped eg
With hasport mounts.. Heard hasport axles brake and heard ep3 axles work direct bolt on.. So I bought some aftermarket ep3 axles and first test drive and passenger axle snapped from inner hub??? So I really want to know what axles to use or if I can use the ep3 oem axles??? Thanx for any info

rsx type s axles are 36mm
ep3 and rsx base are 32mm
