Default will a d15b dual vtec head work on a d17 block?

well as the title states, i was wondering if the aformentioned is possible.... as i have a obd-1 d15b dual vtec swap for my 1996 ej8 coupe thing is i am going FI and i want to have a bit larger bottom end then a 1.5 so i wanted to see if i can use the 1.7l bottom end from the em2 civics. i plan on putting in wiseco pistons/rods and getting the head re-worked with larger valves titanium springs and retainers and possibly a 3-angle valve job with a proper turbo cam shaft..... i just want to know if the head will bolt to the block and if i can use my jdm d15b lsd 5spd transmission on that block

thanks in advanced

al imput/opinions are welcome
