I got a b20 block and b16 head. What year and model car would I have to buy the spark plugs for? I bought bosch platinum 4's but I will be switching to NGK platinums. TIA

Import Builders made crvtec.com. IB is making my motor for me but I don't want to bother them just to ask this question. That is why I am asking the people here on h-t tech to see if anyone else knows. On crvtec.com they said to get the bosch #4227 spark plugs but I was never able to find out what application that model number was for.

if your compression is too high the BKR6E may be too hot

I got 11.5:1 compression pistons. I am not too sure if I am going to open up the chambers to match my bore but if I don't then nothing should change.

No, IB built that guys motor, they dont run that site. The owner of CRVTEC has his dyno sheet on Hondatas website.

Run the ngk bkr6e. They are like 10 bucks. No need for platinums.

As Master Jedi states above. There is no need for platinum spark plugs.

It is more important that you have a platinum credit card...so you can buy all the other expensive parts for your car

I do have a platinum credit card but the limiti isn't high enough.

I guess I was mistaken, when I asked jeff about crvtec.com he said he took part in making it.

That's better rookie... I agree on the heat range for most street driven multi-use type engines, although Iridium isn't necessary. Copper is fine... they just don't last as long as the Iridiums will.
