Default SWAP HELP NEEDED

Hey I have a 94 accord coupe lx manual tran.. Looking to do swap need advice and help leaning toward h22a but need help on difference between red top and black top

It could only be valve cover color...
Seriously though, if the engines are stock H22A versus H22A Type S, there is a piston difference and of course a cam and valvetrain difference... producing an additional 25 HP at the flywheel.

Ok cool and sorry I'm late replying my buddy just said I should go non vtec with the h22a3 and just boost it

Why not Vtec and boost it?

Well the deal I came up on was a h23a non vtec with h22a tranny the ecu all engine attachments exhaust down piping
