Default Rough Idle / Acceleration Issues

Hi HT. I own a 97 MiniMe D16Y8 / Y7 Civic EX. Been having issues with it since I bought the car. It has 163,xxx on it, changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, dizzy, pcv, air filter, oil + filter, thermostat + gasket, head gasket, head bolts, intake mani. gasket, exhaust mani. gasket, valve cover gasket, and throttle body gasket. also changed a few coolant / vacuum hoses / clamps.

Heres my situation: car starts up, takes a few seconds and starts up at about 1500 - 1600 rpm's SMOOTH. once fully warmed idles low, not sure EXACTLY what its at but around - near nothing - 600 rpm's. also, when i give it gas / rev it up theres like a lag / hesitation. after accelerating car drops down REALLY low idle, runs like S*** for a few seconds and goes back to just a normal low idle. car is also vibrating but I assume that would be because of low idle? almost feels like its about to die then comes back to life. . I've cleaned out the throttle body / IACV and haven't really seen much of a difference. One more thing I just wanna throw out there is - my throttle body has a (what it looks like a hose is suposed to be plugged into on the top of it) I was going through the Haynes manual and in there it says it goes to my EVAP. only thing is the EVAP in the book has 3 holes on it where you can plug in hoses, and my EVAP only has 2 and both are already taken up. I think one of them goes to the intake mani or something and the other goes to IACV or FITV not really sure. ALSO, when I did my HG I noticed one of my fuel injectors was cracked. I put it back in for now because there pretty expensive but maybe that could also contribute to this issue? Someone told me could be a timing issue? Any suggestions? CEL works, haven't got my codes pulled yet been very busy hopefully next week. Any information would be helpful!

I would double check vacum lines, check timing, and fix the injector.. Also might want to check valve lash I know if its too tight it could miss.. hope it helps good luck

Go to a junk yard and get the plugs. If you can't find one for your engine, get all four from basically anything that is the same obd version as yours. Mits, Toyota, whatever....I believe mits usually has a higher cc anyway.

As for the idle, my car was doing the same thing when my intake temperature sensor went out. Replacednitnfrom one I got at the junk yard and has been fine since.

I'm running a D16y8 complete except I haven't been able to get the exhaust manifold yet. It's a d15b7 still. I have an eg which is obd1 and the Y8 is obd2. I had to relocate that sensor when I installed the intake mani.

Even though we have different setups, I figured that may give some insight on what your issue could be. Also, any cel's????
