Official K20z1 into DC2!! (Information)
This post will be updated with current up to date, what works for a k20z1 into a dc2 chassis.
Chassis: 2000 Integra Type R
So Far the Setup is:
2005 K20z1 long block (out of 2005 rsx type s)
2005 K20z1 tranny
2005 K20z1 Shifter Box/Cables
Karcepts Shifter Box
R-crew Header (Should work with Hybrid Racing Or HA-Sport Mounts)
2004 K20a2 ECU - KPRO
2004 K20a2 Engine Harness
TWM ITBS 52mm (have to cut skelton under hood for fuel rail to clear)
2002-2004 k20a2 Primary Oxygen Sensor
RSX base Axles
Mounts:
Ha-Sport EGK1 Mounts (allow use of stock axles for ITRs)
Engine Harness:
A 2004 k20a2 Engine Harness & Hybrid Racing change over harness
Karcepts Shifter Box:
With the 2005 shifter cables, the little bronze pieces must be cut off.
then follow the directions to install. http://www.karcepts.com/index_...s.pdf
TWMS ITBS:
Water pump must be modifided. Must run a 3 step pulley system. Aem alternator pulley + 50" belt.
Speed sensor:
Few theories going to try.
Bigcalidaves speed box or cut 2005 plug off, and use hondata kpro to offset the voltage.
edit:

At some point continuing to build and re-build the B18C motor becomes problematic. At the end of last season, it became clear that my own B18C in my DC2 ITR was going to need another re-build and it would involve having to buy a new block.
So since you're going to have to buy a new block anyway, your mind is opened to new possibilities.
In my case I considered a B20 build that would have put down the same power as a K20A build (keeping the K20A stock on the inside).
The DC2 ITR was a great package in its day. It was homologated specifically for the series it dominated for years, and it also had huge success with Spoon and Realtime in series for which it was not originally intended. Its successor car, the DC5 ITR and DC5 Type S, and the EP3 CTR, was unable to get these successes, so the DC2 ITR legend grew a little more in the first days of the new series (2002-2003).
But let's face it. The DC2 ITR was basically a 200 HP Civic with an LSD. In the year 2006, if you're facing a serious rebuild of an ITR motor, there are some very interesting alternatives to sticking with your old B motor.

Now help me clear up the rumors:
Is a 2002-2004 VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) going to be required?
Also, am I missing anything so far?
Will the RSX base axles with the 32mm fit without modification?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I don't believe you need the '02-04 VSS... you can NOT just swap sensor...you need the 02-04 housing <--- this I know. search K20a.org for "k20z1" and "k20z3" I believe a few are already running these motors in eg/dc/eks & have heard nothing about the 02-04 VSS needed
-make sure you have a clutch slave cylinder (RSx-S)
-hondata adapter harness to run older ECU
-base ep3 or base RSX axles should be good
-EP3 idler pulley if you are going to eliminate PS
-suja1 motoring clutch line ($40)

actually, Kpro has an option that will allow you to use the 2005 transmission.
If you cut off the 2005 plug and attached it to the 2004 vss plug, you can get it to work with kpro.
-hondata adapter is only used with RSX 05-06, im using a 2004 harness/ecu
- Axles, im told rsx base should work if i use my bseries inners or something like that. havent gotten that far just yet,.
-pulley setup, im going to be running TWM itbs, so im going to do the 3 puelly setup. with the AEM big pulley with the 39" belt.
- clutch line , is a -3an, 10x1 to -4an coming off the slave cyclinder its a -4an reducer to -3an, then -3an into my tilton master cyclinder.

I dont know where you're getting this info from, but I contacted hondata myself about this same issue, and was told by a hondata tech person that there is no way you can utilize the z1 vss. You will have to find the tranny housing from an 02-04 rsx (any model) or ep3 and the vss, and the speedometer gear on the differential if you want your speedometer to work. I know this b/c i just went through the same thing, and I wouldnt want you cutting up your harness for no apparent reason.
