I'm not a pro at swaps, but u can just get a ex wire harness and use that.hopfully u got the same obd as your car.
Obd2a 96-98-----use a 96-98 civic ex harness
Obd2b 99-00----use a civic si harness and maybe use civic ex harness

If you use and ex/si harness get a ecu jumper to run obd1 reason because your dx has both 02sensors on the harness and the ex/si has 1 on the harness and 1 underneath the body of the car(ran seperate).

Those should be plug n play.
U can modify yours,I think gota wire vtec, knock, pressure sensor.not 100 percent sure, but its somthin like that.
Oh and u gotta relocate o2 because dxs are on the upper part of the manifold.and b series has 1 up top and 1 on bottom. Also I think its the iac or somthing u gotta covert from 2 wire to 3 wire or it may be 3 wire to 2 wire..can't remember.

I would use civic ex harness if u can get your hands on one,,obd2(a or b) ecu jumper and get chipped ecu(obd1)

wiring should be easy even with the dx harness all you need is to add wires for vtec, knock sensor and extend the injector wires.

If it's the same OBD I believe the IACV should be the same as well if not then convert from 3 to 2 wires, that may also need an extension.

The EX harness would make life easier if you have the funds though.

As far as bolting the engine in you will need the following from a 94-01 MT teg:

Shift linkage
axles
half shaft
rear transmission bracket

If you want P/S you will need the pump from a 99-00 SI, if you want A/C you will need the front torque mount bracket from a CRV to fit your d series a/c compressor bolt pattern.

Finally you will need the little engine mount post that goes under the timing belt cover from a 99-00 si so it works with your stock driver side mount.

Have fun!
