your questions doesnt make much sense. wat car and motor do you have? if your refering to ls/vtec, get the vtec pistons so theres no clearance problems. it will be fine if you rev it to stock redline.

sorry about that let me clarrify i have a ls motor i wnat want to hav a vtec head
ive had suggetyions to have my bottom end done... and i just wnated some clarrification why and what if i dont.. thanks!

I wound not go to all the trouble of putting a Vtec cyl head on an LS, unless you plan to build the bottom end. IMO the gains of "just" the Vtec head is not worth the money spent. You would be better off turbocharging.
