LSV missing in low rpms
I purchased my 98 hatch with an LSV already installed. I did not build it so I can only tell you what I know.
Stock b18 bottom end
Stock b16 top end
Blox intake manifold with PWJDM intake
ebay 4-1 header with ebay stainless exhaust
p28 with s300
When purchased the car was running extremely rich and I tuned it down a little to get around 12-13 on the a/f gauge. Seemed to run great but had a random miss in cylinder 3. Very noticible at idle and and if i leveled off on the throttle. Switched out the injectors to a set from an old h23 manifold and the car ran great. No miss at all. After a day the miss returned. We have checked the dizzy, coil, plugs, plug wires, fuel pressure, compression. Everything seems to check out alright. The only thing I can think of is the computer is not communicating correctly with that one injector. I am stuck and dont want to dump endless money into diagnosing the problem. Anyone got any idea?

Re: LSV missing in low rpms
Ok 1 tune the car on a dyno correctly, take it to a tuner that knows what they are doing. 2 how did you check the plugs, wires ect? Just looked at them? I had a slight miss right off idle and it was a bad spark plug wire that was breaking down internally. Putting in larger H23 injectors will not help anything and will effect how the car runs unless is it retuned for the H23 injectors with a good wideband on a dyno. I also think H series injectors need the resistor box and may be the wrong type on injector, correct me if I am wrong on this.

Re: LSV missing in low rpms
checked resistance on the h23 injectors which came out exactly the same as the injectors pulled out. I have installed new plugs wires and new plugs so those are not the issue. According to what I have read, the h23 injectors should be the same size as stock, but that may not be true. I pulled apart the fuel regulator yesterday and found the baffle torn. After replacing this it runs a bit smoother but still misses in low rpms. A dyno would be great if there was one around, but unfortunately I live in bfe and do not have that resource. Is it possible that the computer is not communicating correctly with the injector.

Re: LSV missing in low rpms
Put the B series injector back in I know for a fact H series are larger than B series. How are your cap and rotor? Have you checked valve lash? Even if you are in BFE you need to get the car to a tuner even if it is a street tune.
