K20A3 / K24A4 Questions
I have a few questions regarding a possible engine swap for a base auto RSX.
I have read that a completely stock K24A1 can be swapped into a base RSX (DC5) and run ok on the stock K20A3 ECU. How reliable is this? Are the injectors in the K24A1 larger, compensating for the larger displacement without changes to the fuel maps? Is the 6800RPM redline the K20A3 ECU is programmed for an issue for the K24A1 (which is restricted to 6500RPM in the CR-V)? Does the base RSX automatic hold up to the extra torque ok?
Finally... is the same swap possible with the K24A4?
