'95 or '96 Civic H/B, which body is lighter?
The reason I ask this Q on this forum is because I'm planning on buying a hatchback to build a hybrid with a B series motor.
Any useful info will be appreciated

I would get any hatch that has a decent body. You probably can't distinguish the weight differences between models anyways.
BTW, the Si came with discs on all four corners.

i don't really care much for weight..
but lately i've been leaning towards the ek models becuase of the newer interior..
but then again i dislike ODBII to stick with my ODBI

Yes, the VX is lighter, but the only real difference between the CX and VX (weight wise) is the lightweight wheels on the VX. Plus, I'm sure there's some small difference in engine weight.
The DX is heavier because of the rear wiper, whatever slight engine weight differences exist, the side molding, the right-side mirror (compared to the CX years that don't have one), additional tar (sound damping) and A/C.
Remember though, that many CX and VX have A/C so they actually weigh more than they're supposed to.
You can always remove the tar, rear wiper, and the side molding is just as style preference. If you're going to do a swap they're all going to end up about the same weight anyway.
Of course, the SI is a whole different story.

... but to answer your question, the 96 is considerably heavier. Buy one because you prefer the look, not because it's light.
