Default H22 with F22 transmission vs w/ H22 Trans. Looking for actual 1/4 mile data, anyone?

My little CX/ H22 came with an F22 trans. It is great on the highway and 1st and second pull nicely but 3rd seems like it is where 4th gear should be (1:1). I'll be taking it to teh track on April 25th to get a baseline, but i'm wondering how bad the f22 will handicap me in 1/4 mile vs a H22 (or H23 trans).

Does anyone have actual data or experiance with an H22 having run both of these transmissions? All I can find is hearsay but no cold facts.

Thanks!

i had a f22 tranny on my f20b swap, and after swapping to a shorter geared tranny, the difference is night and day. the H/F tranny's already have long gears, so swapping to a shorter geared tranny like the h22 will help tremendously

Why do you need an "actual" time slip, every car is different, someone elses time slip in not what you are going to run!!

F22 and H22 transmission are exactly what the previous guy said "night and day" in favor of the H22.
I wouldn't even consider the f22 trans...

I need real world figures and not hearsay. Obviously every car is going to run quite differantly at the track dependinging on a million differant factors, I'm not looking to compare that against what I have, I just need some indication of what sort of actual gains a better geared tranny is likley to offer in the 1/4 mile.

Are we talking like .2 of a second or like a full second. How big a handicap is the accord tranny?

I don't have any time slips, so I guess I can't help you, but I did do the tranny swap on a '92 accord and it is night and day. It is a big differance al lot more than 2 tenths and what I'm typeing isn't harsay
