Default H22 distributor problems

I installed a h22 into my 95 accord ex. The engine is a jdm model with the internal coil setup in the distributor and i'm (trying) using the f22,auto ecu. The problem is that with the jdm distributor on the engine it will not spark, if i put the f22 distributor on it sparks fine at the plugs. I tested the h22 distributor and the coil checked out low so i put another distributor of another h22 i had and that i know works, still no spark! All grounds are good, all wires hooked correctly. Is there something inside the jdm distributor that is not wired to run on the us wiring or f22 ecu. Thanks for any help.

im lost here,....why on God's green earth would you use an auto f22 ecu in conjunction with your H22 swap? you are just making things more complicated than they need to be,..keep it simple

I'm using the f22 ecu because as far as i know the 92-95 preludes never had an automatic tranny/vtec set-up and the accord has an automatic tranny. Everything wired up correctly for the h22 but the distributor is not firing. Thats why in "gods green earth" i'm using it.

dude, heh, you know that ecu is not tuned for that motor at all, you will run lean

stock vtec crossover f22: 5250
stock h22a1 injector size: 330 cc's
stock f22 injector size: 240 cc's
stock f22 redline: 6250
stock h22a1 redline 7500

you will probably need a modded h22a4 ecu for your "set-up" to run properly, as for your distributor problems, i think thats the least of your worries right now

So do you think the f22 ecu will start the car if the distributor worked? All i really care about is the distributor problem, i'm not trying to be half *** but this is what the customer who is going to buy the car has to work with. If i need a chipped ecu or whatever to get the spark then i'll try to get him one but i would think that the f22 ecu would still spark the plugs with the h22 distributor. I'm really starting to hate this crap. He tells me he will by the accord, brings me an h22 and says "put this in the car also". This is the first swap i've done like this (this setup) so i'm green when it comes some of the H and F series stuff.

The ECU situation should be the same as mine. Get a chipped P72 or a P13. It does not matter if they are 5 speed or not. That Accord should have seperate ECu for tranny and motor. Atleast in 94 they did. As far as the distributor goes, I really can't say what to do. I used a 94 Prelude Si distributor on my H22 and it ran with the stock F22 computer, and ti runs great with the chipped p72.
