EGR sensor and EGR control solenoid valve
Hi, Im just finishing up an h22 swap in my EF and my car originaly doesnt come with the EGR system. I wired up the EGR valve lift sensor to the ECU . but then there is a vacuum link to the EGR control solenoid valve. The EGR control solenoid valve has two wires in the plug how do I wire them up so everything works properly...thanks

Re: EGR sensor and EGR control solenoid valve
OK, I did the same on my EG. If youre running a p28 ECU, you dont need EGR.(92-95 civic si/ex didnt have EGR) If your running a p13 ecu, here is what you do. The solenoid valve has 2 wires on it, 1 wire is hot, 12v switched. The other wire goes to the ECU on connector 415, terminal #6, A11. Now the hoses. on the solenoid, it has a green vacuum regulator, Its round, about 2 inches in diameter, you dont need it. the valve, the top has a little round vent, the center port goes to the EGR valve #16. The bottom port goes to manifold vacuum. Thats it!

Re: EGR sensor and EGR control solenoid valve
I am swapping out my old HF engine with a VTEC-E(D15VX) into a CRX for great mileage, and I am having a hard time finding an EGR control box. Can I use any old EGR solenoid and vacuume valve?
Thanks
Thanks
