stock P28 on H22, technically yes. But if you push in any way you will have parts in no time. Plus start up will be a little funky. I wouldn't trust it to run the H22 for anything more than a start up check and maybe if you absolutely had to... a slow and easy on the throttle drive to a tuner.

when i use the p28 it starts and idles alot better. while using the p13 it runs super rich and does not idle well and sputters. knock is not hooked, no egr and the secondary butterflys disconnected.

If you want to stick with the P28 you'll need either a single runner intake mani or an RPM activate switch and relay to open the IABs. (As well as chipping the P28 with H22 maps)

NOTE: the P13 will work also but your lack of EGR and knock will cause problems.

it depends on what your plans are. tuning is always the best option if you're not going to run an OEM ECU.

If Hondata is a little out of your budget, check the tuner directory over at PGMFI.org. there are a lot of people on there that can chip your ECU and tune your car. Find a local person and go from there.
