Default b18c5 swap problem

Hey just did a 98 type r swap (b18c5) on my 98 acura integra gsr. Im using my gsr harness with a chipped p-28 with a jumper harness to obd1. Im having issues with the car it starts up and all runs. But when I go and start it up it idles a little not a lot just a little and when I take it for a spin for about 20 or 30 minutes the idle is low at times and the car wants to die out I have to keep my foot on the pedal just to keep it from dying out. The owner of the motor told me I have to go get it tuned for my car in order for it to run correctly and hes done some engine work to it. Anyway any advice would help thanks guys.

Is the P28 tuned?

Have you tried setting the Idle according to the procedure in the Service Manual?

Did the chipped P28 come with the engine ??? If not, you essentially have no idea what programming is on it other than the word of who you purchased it from... which means tuning will be a requirement. Also, there are many two-wire round plugs around the intake manifold area of your Integra GSR engine harness... and these can often be plugged in to the wrong sensor. Double check your orientation because the C5 locations differ slightly.

IAT = red/yel, grn/blk
IACV = blu/yel, yel/blk
Evap/Purge = red, yel/blk

Your IAT sensor plug will have to be lengthened in order to reach the new sensor location on the C5 intake manifold.

Good luck.

Ok are the gsr and type harness the same if so everything is correct except the evap purge right now is a yellow/black and light green wire. I think I found the evap purge wire its a red and yellow/black wire the inside of the plug is blue if so it has to be lengthen in order to reach the evap purge canister.

You still havent answered about the ECU. If it has some random tune on it for a boosted H22 with 550cc injectors, it will always run and idle like ****.

Yes im sure it has a random tune not really sure whats on it. So if I do decide to get it dyno tuned you think the rep will be able to run it?

Test: Plug your GSR ecu in and take it for a spin. Don't beat on it, just cruise around and see if it's still an issue. Why not run a P73 ecu or just flash your OBDI with a Type-r rom? That's what I'm using.
