Default 99 civic with b18b1 swap

So I bought a winter beater... tried to get it emission tested here in ontario and could not have it done. The car is a 99 civic si (maybe?) with a b18b1 motor in it from an acura integera. Has a ecu conversion harness running fro the obd1 ecu for the motor to the origional obd2 harness in the car. Plug in a scanner and it has no connectivity. New standard for emissions testing now has to have the car plugged in to the obd2 if that is what the car is registered with. Question... Is there an ecu that i can use to run my b18b1 motor with the origional wiring harness in the car. Cant have a jumper in order to do my emission test. Help me....

Yeah. An OBD2 ECU. You're stuck between a rock and a hard place running an older engine in a newer chassis where emissions testing is done.

Could you use a jumper harness to run a 96-99 OBD2 P75. This computer would connect to OBD2. I believe the 00-01 P75s had the immobilizers so it would throw a constant check engine light.

So I got a p2p ecu... Plugged in it runs the car. From what I have read it is a obd2 computer so I hope it will have connectivity with the emmisions computer. If it does then great, after I will plug my chipped p06 back in. It does have a really low red line at 5500rpm. Can this be due to it maybe coming from a vtec speced car? Ahh who cares! So long as I get my emmisions passed I guess.

That's an ECU for a D16. ECUs aren't like Lego's you know.

No this is my first Jap car. I just want to run a computer that will be read by the emmisions computer so I can get this over with. I don't know about f-all with honda-acura except for what I have... At this point, a 1500 dollar head ache! Going to test it at the shop tonight.

P2P ECU is going to throw codes.

Ontario Canada I'm assuming? Try to find a '98 - '01 5 speed CR-V ECU, it will plug in, run the engine reasonably well and wont throw codes. From what I recall the emissions testing isn't very strict up there, it just has to communicate with a scan tool and not throw any codes.
