99 B16A2 into 99 civic dx. Need help with secondary o2 sensor wiring.
I have read 20+ pages of threads here and cannot come up with an answer.
I swapped a 99 b16a2 (obd2b) into a 99 civic dx. I used the b16a2 engine harness and stock 99 B16a2 ecu. All I have left to do is wire up the secondary o2 sensor to the ecu since the wiring for that sensor is in the dash harness of a si. I'm still using the DX dash harness.
The oem secondary o2 sensor I have is wired like this:
GRN WHT
BLK BLK
Can anyone tell me where each wire is supposed to go ino the ECU? I saw a few diagrams but I understand what wires go where.

Wht - A23
Grn - C18
Blk (O2 heater control) - A8
Blk (O2 heater supply) - use a switched +12v. Factory has got this off of connector C115 which also supplies power to the EVAP purge solenoid (among other things).

Re: 99 B16A2 into 99 civic dx. Need help with secondary o2 sensor wiring. (kinvid)
(viewed from the pin side on the male plug)
For the 96-98 OBDII ecu:
1 (green) goes to D13 (green/ blk) for sensor ground
2 (white) goes to D14 (white/ red) for sensor signal
3 (blk/white) goes to A5 (blk/ white) for heater signal
4 (blk/yellow) needs to "TAP" into A11 (yellow/ blk) for 12v power
So I make my own wires from the secondary o2 sensor, extend it long enough, and "splice" them into the engine harness wires right before the "A" and "D" plugs at these location: D13, D14, A5, A11 ???

I have the same question. I *kind of* understand which wire is supposed to go where, but I don't understand how to actually connect it to the ECU?

The ECU has connectors that have wires with pins crimped onto their ends that secure them into the ECU connector.
If you need to connect up to the ECU but do not presently have a wire in that particular spot, you will need to find another harness (from a junkyard perhaps) and then remove a wire with crimped pin from it. Then just go ahead and solder up whatever it is you need to that pigtail and insert into the needed ECU connector spot.
If there is already a wire in the particular spot, then just cut and solder.

SO I am still having a hard time figuring out where to connect the 12V wire on the o2 sensor.
THe post above says: 4 (blk/yellow) needs to "TAP" into A11 (yellow/ blk) for 12v power
But A11 is not noted on Katman's diagram above. Is it safe to assume it's the wire to the right of A10? Currently I don't think I have a wire going to that location in the harness. So, do I still wire it into that spot?

No, A10 is for the service connector. Under the intake manifold, there is a connector with many yel/blk, blk/yel. They are all 12v switched power. Tap into one.

Thanks for the reply Turbogixxer
Ok I probably sound like a total dumbass, but I can't find any of the connectors you are talking about. Is there nothing on the harness that I can use, or anything near the harness?

Drivers side, near the firewall, you'll see a gray 10-pin connector. There is a Blk/Wht wire that runs through there which feeds the connector that turbogixxer is referring to. Grab a multimeter to test and make sure.

Re: 99 B16A2 into 99 civic dx. Need help with secondary o2 sensor wiring. (EE_Chris)
OK, I got the secondary wired in and its working fine. However, I am now getting the P0132 code, which indicates that the primary o2 sensor wiring is screwed up.
Could someone please let me know where the wires from the primary o2 sensor plug go (like the diagram above for the secondary o2 sensor wiring)?
TIA
