lol, that is the hasport conversion kit...
with the exception of the braided line, witch by the way has lost pressure

i didnt use any thread lock when i installed it plus i just threw it in to make sure it was going to work, so im sure this is why it bleed down, prolly have an air leak do to the thread lock not being there...

when i reroute the line i'll make sure to use some loc-tight or plumber's tape on it...

i cant remember what the best thing to use is so if you know what i should use to insure a no leak fit, please share... thank's again, Brian

cool man im glad to hear it...

i guess it's time i give an update:

i recieved the Si intake yesterday went to install it and the bolt pattern IS different than the LS... i knew i was taking a gamble but it was worth the effort...
i stripped it down and used every part on the LS manifold and every thing bolted right up...
the problem i now have is it turns over and sounds as if it is about to start then nothing... i found i have a brocken dizzy cap so im replaceing that tomorrow as well as the rotor, i also found a place out here called HONDOCOTORS or something to that effect, they sell a part that bolts to your sock dizzy cap and allows you to run an external coil... the part cost $10 and is easy to install, im getting this tomorrow as well so i can still use my MSD set up...
another potential problem i have as to why it wont fire up has to do with the IACV... im told it is a three wire from the auto and needs to be made as a 2 wire instead...? i apparently dont know which sesor this is as i dont have the orange wire in any of the plugs on the throttle body or the intake... what i see are as follows:
on the top of the Si throttle body there is the map sensor (3wire) on the opposit side of the throttle linkage there is the TPS (also 3wire) on the back of the intake there is something with a soloinoid attached to it... this is 2 wire but there isnt a orange wire in any of the three plugs... so, at this point im not sure im looking in the right place... im not even sure what the IACV looks like... also i know im makeing myself out to be an idiot right now but, im a very honest guy and this IS the way it is for me right now... im not going to pretend like i know it all or even a small amount of it, that is were people who know come to play and teach people like me... i hope i articulated that right as not to sound like a jerk, LOL...
any way, please advise me if you can, i really need it right now, also ive been doing google searches to see if i can find a pic of the IACV so i know what to look for, ive come up with zero...

as always thank you for the support... i'll get some recent pics up over the weekend... Brian

i have a very important annocement i would like to make.....

MY CAR RUN'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hell yeah, i still have quit a bit of clean up as well as bugs to work out, not to mention i need to get the exhuast redone oh yeah, my fuel pump has no power so we jumped it to another 12 volt sorce and just like that, the bitch started right up... it ran like **** till did the repin for the two wire IACV... and i had to bump the idel up a smidge... i will have new pics up over the weekend as well as a detailed report of what i did and how i did it... of coarse i had a lot of help... i will give a proper thank you to the people that helped with this project after i do the next few post's, i would rather have that as the last thing people remember... thank's as allways, Brian

here are some pics of the motor...
you see how i ran the wire's from the dizzy cap to the MSD box... also you can see all of the civic Si parts on the intake as well as the throttle spacer... you can also see how i tweeked the throttle cable bracket to work with my Y8 TC...
one problem i have is the speedometer dosn't work, so i need to figure that out... im sure its because the ECU im using is out of the integra and it used a cable for the speedo... i have a chipped P28 ECU, im not sure if im going to use it tho because its set up with vtec and i no longer have it... im told if the ECU cant find the vtec it will put my car into limp mode... i dont know if this is true but im not going to take the chance... if anyone has any guess's as to how to fix my speedo problem, please share...

the wire's going to the MSD box

throttle bracket from the integra bent and twisted to work with my Y8 TC...

interior pic, just because...

on a side note:
i told myself i was going to take it easy and not run it hard, at least for a few days...LOL yeah, that did not go as planned...
so im driveing down n. on lamb toward charelston blvd, i get in the turn lane to head west (left), as i get to the light it changes to green so i keep going threw the light... well i noticed a 96-00 coupe with a CF hood and wheels... he was talking to someone in a 90-92 integra so i really never paid much attention to him...
well i got about 1/2 mile up the road and came to another light at sacromento, so i start slowing down and im now in 2nd gear... the light turns green and this kid in the coupe pulls next to me and gets on it... i just stabbed the gas and pulled him i had him by a bumper before i shiffted to 3erd, i was just walking away... so then we came to another light at the 95 freeway, he had some friends in the car and they were talking **** to him because he not only got beat but he got beat bad...
still at the red light he turns right and jumps on the freeway cutting off on comming traffic that had the right of way...
man, my first kill... the whole race was very short but it was the **** to me...

thank's again and i hope you all enjoy this thread... Brian

i also liked the fact that that u took ur time and proved that there is more than one way to install parts and make them function.(for example ur shifter) . being original is what makes u stick up.
