tuner cams? hmm. I wonder how much you put out on those compared to the pro 1. I put out 233 and 166tq on stock block h22a with pro 1

Here is my contribution. Definitely came in quick and I also ordered mine from Amazon. Quality looks great and of course the extras are a cool plus, mainly the flange and donut seal as that saves a good amount of money.

Best free marketing for Highend! haha

^ Mine was started back in 2011 officially. Finally on the down hill slide though, wiring, exhaust, cooling and suspension are the only things left.

I just recently bought a house and love the fact that its mine and can do whatever I want in the garage whenever I please. If only I can stop getting sidework so I can epoxy the floors

I hear ya man. Ill be really happy if I get my project running by next year in the summer or earlier. But completed with paint and etc how i want by the end of next year would be really awesome.

And I hear that on the house stuff. It really is great in so many ways. I am currently dealing with plumbing issues and some other things. Glad the weather in my area is shaping up and I can hit it hard and knock those things out! Buying a house is part of the reason its been years since ive had a fun honda. For a while there I had other toys but nothing that was a money pit haha.

What type of oil pan does the H23a vtec use? Steel or aluminum? I'm trying to purchase the correct KS Tuned BS eliminator install kit. Halfmoon gasket or full gasket..

Aluminum pans come on the type sh H22's. Check out the prelude section for the Prelude H23 thread also. If I remember correctly the half moon gasket is for the kstuned pan. My QSD pan only uses Hondabond.

My H23As have all had plain hondabond and no gasket with a steel pan. However, you can use a Felpro gasket on it if you like... which I have done.

Hello folks. I'm an OG h2b guy, may have seen me on this board a while ago.

Anyway, I have some parts that might help with some of your builds. Check my FS thread.

How is the ground Clarence with this header? It looks like I might be getting this soon. Trying to figure out if I should go 3' when right now my exhaust is 2.5. As far as muffler, was thinking of going with the ws2 muffler and costume piping for the rest. Thoughts. I will be doing the h23a BT in dc2.

The clearance is suppose to be great. Does not sit too low from what i have been told and pics i have seen. As far as exhaust, it depends on your supporting mods. If its pretty mild, 2.5 will be fine but you can still benefit (although not as greatly) with a 3". If you plan to upgrade or if you are say having head work done or having cams put in or that sort of thing, 3" would be most beneficial. WS2 if i recall correctly is a twin loop design inside the muffler which would yield less hp than say a straight through magnaflow, vibrant, or others. You may want to look into a resonator or two if you want to keep the drone/sound down. Mandrel piping straight through to a straight through muffler will obviously yield the most power but will definitly be loud. I am going to run 3" with a resonator and magnaflow muffler. I have ran the setup in the past on my turbo type r setup I had and loved it. I beleive I went with a 3" 36" resonator with ktellar 3" mandrel piping and magnaflow straight through 3". Kept drone down and kept a very low mean tone versus raspsy and loud if i would have not resonated the setup.

I could have swore the world sport was a straight through design. right now I'm running Evo 2 muffler. Only thing I'm going to do is port the intake, 70mm tb and rdx injectors. Maybe later own I might buy an h22 head and get some work done. Im good with 200-210 hp for a dd. My exhaust is pretty quit now and I have a built poor man's type r stroked. Its not bad, but I put the b16 cams back in and decided to do h series swap and call it a day.

Apexi N1 and WS2 I believe are both straight through. However the WS2 is more restrictive and smaller diameter internally.

Maybe thats what i was thinking. Either way it is more restrictive than your say a straight through vibrant, magnaflow, n1, etc.

Jdragon: I believe you would be fine with 2.5" especially at what your saying but in my opinion if you think theirs a decent possibility you will upgrade your head and just upgrade in general, 3" would make the most sense right now instead of changing it later (saving money in the long run). Again just my opinion.

Yeah I was trying to keep the noise down a bit, im pretty sure they have a flex pipe that is 3' and need to find a test pipe that is 3'. Maybe 36" res.

Gees. Surely someone will do it. Or if you dont mind spending a bit more you can get a k teller already bent exhaust that they woulnt have to make but just weld or bolton depending on what setup you want to run? I can see some shops not wanting to do it either also mainly depending on how low you are. But if you are very low, you can run it below your lca which would be much easier for the fabricator. Although that would put your piping lower to the concrete also... Good luck man and hope you find someone that can set you up with something.
