Get Inspired by the Color Purple

Are you in a purple mood? Do you feel your aura is a purple hue? It might be time to turn your Honda more like you. Here are the top areas to change your boring Honda into a staggering eggplant, or just show your love for the color purple.

1. Body Paint

"Are you looking for a purple, but not like a purple, but more like a purple?" The good thing is that there are different types of purple to choose from. Even better, there are also different types of paint. So you can go with a matte purple or a purple metallic paint job.

Check out Paint Modifications for more paint options.

2. Engine Bay

Going a step forward, change the look of your engine bay. Now, you can either continue with the purple theme or try a complimentary color, such as a 1950's green or blue. You might not want to change the whole engine bay but just the engine cover. Well, you can do that as well.

3. Halo Headlights

Everything else in your life is purple, why not make the road ahead purple as well? Change those boring white headlights with these purple angel halos and break the darkness with the magic of purple light. Don't forget about those taillights. Go ahead, you know you want to.

(The headlights above are multi-color, so you don't have to settle with the color purple.)

4. Grille

Why not the grille? You added purple to the headlights, so take it all the way. Try these grille lights that are affixed to the turn signals. Cars in front of you won't know "what the purple" just hit them.

5. Interior

Okay, so this person went a little subtle with their purple, but imagine the possibilities! Dome lights, LED strips in the footwell, purple cover seats, and maybe even a purple dashboard. Turn that odometer purple! There is no one to stop you!

6. LED Strips

The great thing about strips is that you can add them just about anywhere: in the footwells (as mentioned before), the trunk, the grille or even under the car. Let your creativity take you over.

7. Rims

The rims, a common area to make your car more uniquely yours. Try plasti dipping your rims and always know that you can remove it if you get tired of the purple. Don't stop there, you can also change the lug nuts.

8. Emblem

This is another common area, and you could also use plasti dip here. Do you have a black Honda? Black goes with everything and this purple would only intensify the look of your Civic. Remember that plasti dip can be peeled off, so if you want to change the color, you can easily remove it.

Change your Honda and turn it into a purple only Barney could be proud of. You could also just do a few touches and make the purple enthusiast next to you jealous.
