- soft top + frame + motors = around 65lbs
- hardtop = 44lbs + hardware
so you save roughtly 20lbs by ripping the soft top assembly out and installing a hardtop.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you'd be wrong. The mugen FRP weighs in roughly the same weight as the OEM at around 44lbs. As for the Mugen carbon fiber top, it comes in at a whopping 34lbs, NOT 22lbs.
