Uneven ride height after hitting a curb?
So I'm thinking about picking up this 04 s2000. The previous owner told me he fishtailed and hit the curb with his passenger rear wheel. After that, the right side of the car was lowered like 1.5" or so. He brought it to two alignment shops and they were able to align the car to specs, but the right side still stayed lower. Does anyone know what issue this could be?
As a result, the owner evened out the ride height with some coilovers. Is this a car worth picking up? (It's clean title btw)

I test drove the car and there doesn't seem to be any negative noticeable effects. The steering is straight.
Does having bent suspension parts drastically have a negative impact on the car? I'm not going to be tracking the car or anything.

Same principle as bending a paper clip. It's going to be weaker until fixed correctly (replace the damaged part). Covering it up with some coilovers is about as ghetto a fix as there is (second only to cutting the spring on the high side )

dude - take it to a garage and get it checked - we're really going to struggle to do this for you over the internet. If you're about to spend big $$'s, then spend just a small amount more to get it checked properly. You will not want a suspension component failing on you at 70mph

why are you even buying a car like that? seriously just wait out for a better deal, it gonna take some time and money to hunt down the problem and it will never be as good as stock again. you can't fix anything by throwing coilover at it, there's obviously something is wrong and you are onlymasking the problem.

what if the shock was the problem, and the coilovers corrected it?
i would take it to a decent shop to see if there is a problem with it.
