Re: SRS AND ABS LIGHT
You will need the Honda SRS tester which is a black plastic box with a 2ohm resistor inside. The use of it, and resetting process is described in the Helms factory service manual which I recommend you pick up.
The tester is also called an "SRS Inflator Simulator." Part Number: 07SAZ-TB4011A.
To connect it with the various conncectors you'll also need "SRS Simulator Lead C." Part Number: 07TAZ-SZ5011A.
1) Ignition OFF
2) Connect jumper connector to MES (2P) connector on the main fuse block
Turn Ignition on (III)
3) SRS light will come on for 6 seconds. You must remove the service connector within 4 seconds of the light going off.
4) SRS indicator will blink 2 times indicating it has cleared.
5) Turn ignition off for at least 10 seconds before restarting the car.
A dealer can reset it, but it will probably be on your dime at 80ish an hr. They can do it with the Honda PGM Tester.
