Default SPUGEN EXHAUST

Does anyone have SPUGEN exhaust for there s2k? Im thinking about getting these kinds.

Spügen Exhaust: Dual Oval w/Oval Tips (Honda S2000 - All Years)
This Spügen bolt-on cat-back dual kit comes with oval mufflers and oval tips. All piping are 2.5" aluminized inside and out and 100% mandrel bent. Comes in 3-pieces. Very simple installation.

My question is if its loud, when u turn on ur car, can u tell if u have a exhaust, HP gains, and how many pounds it weighs from stock. and when im steping on it, can u tell.

Sound clips don't really do justice though. On a sound clip the Invidia sounds bearable, in real life it makes your ears bleed.

at least he'll get an idea of the sound.... a sound clip is more acurate then us telling him it's loud or quiet or sounds good or sounds like a fart can or whatever it may be...

Yo VTECorona - I was wondering. Have you heard a Spugen in comparison to your old Invidia? Im choosing between the 2 right now, but really am turned off by this drone everyone is talking about with the Invidia - is it the same story with the dual Spugen?

My Spugen droned. It droned a lot when it was hot out. I even had them re-weld the stock resonator back on. Some days I loved, other days I hated it.

My friend has the spugen dual titanium on his sc'd s2k and it's comparable to the invidia. I only drove it once but from what I remember it sounded pretty close to what the invidia sounds like.

The exhaust gets more bearable with the top down but it's still loud.

If you want quiet go with comptech, fujitsubo, supersprint, or have a custom exhaust made.

Hmm - I dont mind decently loud exhausts, but I do like them clean. I was hoping the Spugen was a bit more bearable.

i got a spugen dual oval/oval exhaust and it sounds nothing like the invidia. The spugen exhaust has a nice deep tone and has a bit of drone at certain rpms, but its not as loud as the invidia. Doin 80 on the freeway w/ the top down, i heard the invidia over my exhaust.

PS: im thinkin of selling mine if you dont want to get a new one

well, Im bringing this back from the past. Just finished installing the Spugen Dual Oval with Round tips. The exhaust drones (but not obnoxious) around 3-4k rpm. The sound is deep and very close to Comptech than Invidia. I've heard Invidia. Invidia was unbearably loud. no thanks.

I had my buddy drive my car passing me at top of 8krpm and the sound was exactily what i wanted from an exhaust. Crusing at 75mph the exhaust sounded fine. The deep sporty sound is there when you want to hear and it gets noticibly loud as it passes 6krpm.

I am happy with the exhaust.
