your in highschool, enjoy yourself and forget about dumping all your money in your car. trust me, if I could go back in time I would have had more fun in school and stayed out of the car scene until I graduated.

Anyway, dont even think about going turbo untill you get some EMS and a clutch

listen to him, im stuck in the boat he speaks of. in all honesty, i wish i wouldn't have bought my s. now i'm stuck and having to work more than i should at this point in my life. i should be more concentrated on school.

i shoulda just kept the teg. it woulda been much faster, and i wouldnt have a car payment.

How about you buy a car before you decide to modify it. It helps to actually have the car first.

I've had the Rev Hard kit for 2 years and its been great no problems. You need an AEM EMS with any turbo kit for the S2K though.

you CAN use greddy emanage. there are people on S2ki.com who have close to 400whp running greddy emanage without a problem.

like they told already.. going turbo in a s2k is not cheap... specially if you are putting quality parts.. you can 't go cheap on the engine management .

so if you thinking about 350 whp.. = 7 - 9k easy.. and if 400whp + 10k easy.

Since no one else answered your questions yet...

No, you can't chip an S2000 ecu to run Chrome, Uberdata, or anything else. And you can forget about the FMU. Every kit out there either comes with some sort of standalone EMS or piggy-back like e-manage or you're expected to buy it separately.

Many people have good results with the InlinePro kit. Go check out the forced induction forum on s2ki and you'll find some good info on it. There's not as much information available on the RevHard kit as not as many people have it, but from what I understand it's not that bad.

As far as tuning in concerned, if you're not looking to break the bank it's either Greddy E-manage, or you can wait for AEM to come out with the Fuel and Ignition controller, which should be soon. Either of them will run you around $300 bucks, figure another $500 at least for a good tune.

So all-in-all, $3800 for the Inline Pro kit, another $300 for engine management, $500 for the tune, assuming you're putting it on yourself, you're looking at roughly $4600. Can you put a kit together cheaper? Yes, but it's not easy. There aren't as many resources for parts like there are for Civics. Things like Charge Piping and Down Pipes are going to have to be fabricated, don't forget the oil filter relocation kit, injectors, yadda yadda yadda. I pieced one together once with just about everything minus the relocation kit for under $2000. I have good resources though, and some things like the turbo were used. It's much easier to buy a kit, and then you know you're getting something that works.

Good luck
