Default S2k noob i have some questions.

ok so some of you have seen pics of when I picked up my s2k a while ago.
Today I was doing a oil change and trans oil change and i noticed that the car had a front cross bear bar(like the spoon one), And i don't know if that is stock part or aftermarket. So question is do s2k's come with this cross beam stock ?

Also this second and more severe problem has me more worried and puzzled at the same time, Its about the brakes.
Problem is that the car feels as it has a dragging caliper.
i took the rear driver side caliper off and it is seized. I however didn't check my rear passenger side.
Now I had the front jacked up and i tried spinning my passenger side wheel and it spun freely but my front driver side felt like it was lightly braked, i could still turn it by hand but it took more pressure and it stopped quickly.
I drove the car from where I got it to here which was a ten hour drive and my brakes didn't overheat at all.Now the brakes get really hot after just a couple mile drive. i think that the problem came to be from me using the valet and the valet guy pulling the e-brake too much. Is this possible ?
lastly i would like to ask if the BB or MC or even the ABS module get messed up to cause this ? or just something that happened from the e-brake being pulled too much or just simply the calipers seized up.
Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to start trowing parts at it without being positive on what's wrong

dont see how that could be. im not sure about an s2k as i haven't done a brake tune-up yet on this car. but if its a floating wrist pin caliper, it might be that that has seized. just take ur rear brake calipers apart, clean everything out, inspect, and re-lube everything if everything checks out.

How many miles are on your S? How do you pads compare from inside to outside? If one caliper (Slider I assume, or was it the piston?) was seized then there is a good chance another one could be. Just pull all the sliders out and grease them. If the boots are torn then replace them. It's pretty easy to do.

A point to note... If you think the rear caliper piston was seized, and all you were doing was trying to push it in then you are retracting the piston wrong. You have to "screw" it in.

I doubt it has anything to do with something other then the calipers.

The car has 76xxx miles. car is a 2000 SS. The car is number 1555 so it's one of the very first ones.
the car has a lot of the DIY things to do an s2k and was heavily modified at one point.
Now it almost stock.
So I understand that some of the this that I will have to clean up and fix come with the fact that I was abused.
Now for the pads. They look about even, but the inner ones is a little different in wear pattern. It looks like part of it is braking apart( I assume that is because of over heating).
i think i know that I will have to change that calipers but what is better ? rebuild mine try buying a used set or buying refurbished or new ?
I know that new would be best but they are over $200 a piece, Rebuild kits from honda are fairly cheap but I don't know if they will have everything that might be messed up on my calipers.
the reason that I ask about the ABS module, BB or MC is because what are the odds of having one side of the car seized ? i still have to check my rear passenger side.
Oh and i tried pressing it in and screwing it with no luck.

So you are saying the piston is seized? I have to be 100% honest with you. Chances are you are just not retracting it properly. Are you using a brake caliper tool and a ratchet? Looks like this:

When you compare the driver rear pads to the passenger rear pads, are they about the same as far as pad life goes?
