S2000 vs Integra GSR Type R Eng
Hey guys,
I didnt know where to post this so hopefully you all can help since most owners of S2k have had other Hondas. I am interested in either a Acura Integra GSR, Brand new paint/tires, with a JDM Type R 45k miles on engine 100,000 on car.
I am also interested in a S2k 121,000 miles.
The integra= $7000
The S2k=$9000
Both I can afford but which one would you go for?

the integra. If it ain't a type R it ain't a tight car. B18C5 with the VTAK yo. for sure for sure the integra is a better choice, S2k's have a tendency to wrap themselves around trees and telephone posts.
but seriously.. seriously? The S2000 if you don't need cargo space. RWD, 40 more horses, NOT an integra, and you need more convincing? lol

or...
YOU could test drive both of them, and figure out which one YOU like more

both cars are great. it really does depend on whether you want a front wheel or rear wheel drive car. both are fun to drive, but are different beasts. if you are considering mods, i would recommend the s2000. easier to put more power to rear wheels than front wheels. and the engine is already forged. the integra will build great power too, but then it becomes a traction control nightmare.

I have an ITR and an s2000, they are both fun cars. On the exception of FWD and RWD, both are great on the track also.

I would save up for a little while longer and get a lower millage S if I were you. If you can't save up, then go for the teg for sure.

its really your preference...but since you asked i would Def go S2K but with less than 100k miles unless you have mechanical experience to fix it up if something happens...
S2K !

im pretty sure the rsx is just the 2001-up American USDM Integra... Its just a new body style and in japan they still call it an integra..Its kinda like in canada they made a 96-98 body style civic and called it a Acura 1.6 I believe.. I could be wrong.. I am pretty sure though.
