NSX or S2k which do i buy?
I like both cars. I driven the S2k only. I know the NSX will drive alot better. What would you guys buy? in terms of mods what can i do to an NSX? i saw a header for the NSX go for over 5000. Are there any body kits for the NSX that look good? Someone please tell me.

They are two different cars. That’s like asking would I eat an apple or an orange. Should this even be a question at hand? The s2k any jo blow can have, the nsx is an exotic sports car.
Actually you can do any mods to an nsx than you can an car, you just have to know the places to go and looks......PLus, the s2k handles horribly and if you put a SC on it have fun trying to hook up and your going to go threw cluthes like water.
I have owned both and well.... I still have the NSX.

ok, lets throw a little twist on that question . . . Buy a 2000-2003 S2K or buy a 91-93 NSX????? That puts them closer into the same price range.

Even so, I'd get the NSX. But there are sunny days in the spring, summer, and fall that I'd love to enjoy in a nice convertible.

Drive a NSX and it will answer all your questions.
One thing to think of is the maintanace cost of the NSX. The NSX also goes through tires almost as fast as it goes through gas.
I debated the same question as you about two years ago. I ended up with the NSX and I am very happy. I do all the service myself.

BTW, I haven't heard of a header costing 5G's. I've seen the Fujitsubo Iconal header and that's 10K but I'm not aware of a header bridging the gap between 1.2K and 10K. Do you have any specifics on the header you mentioned?

I am also looking at a skyline. I talked to Motorex and they have a nice R33 with 35,000 miles for 48k right now. I want to make the right buy. I love the nsx how it looks exotic though. The NSX is limited in being tuner friendly though. I would not spend 5000-9000 on my exhuast system for that i'd just buy a beater hatch.

I don't think it's quite an apples/oranges question really. While the cars don't really compete in the same categories they are both built to go around tracks quickly. The NSX will do so faster but it also costs twice as much. I'd love to get an NSX but my choice was between a brand new car with a 7 year warranty vs. a 7+ year old car with no warranty and requiring a second car, it was a no brainer. I went with the S2000. When it's paid off it will become that 2nd car and an NSX will be the weekend toy track car. Or maybe an F355 or a Viper....
BTW, mods are quite expensive for the S2000 as well. And they do even less for gaining performance.
