My 443whp Stock s2000 Ap1 Turbo Build
Well i bought the car back in may, The only thing that was done to it was some cheap 18" wheels, tein coilovers, aem intake, and invidia duals. Nothing much really. It was a huge step up from my ek hatch with a stock b18c1 gsr swap. But as the months went by i got tired of the slow acceleration until vtec. So i thought about going the supercharger route, but have always wanted a turbo setup. So thats what i did. Thought about the best setup i could do on a stock motor, and called Full Race and picked up theyre s2000 turbo kit. 3 Weeks later i ended up with around $8k give or take in parts..here is the mod list

Vtec is lowered around 4800 I think. You can't even hear the crossover. If your not in boost, you will be when vtec is engauged. It's set at 11psi, tuner said I could of went higher, but 440whp was way more than I planned. So I stuck with that. As for wheels I'm looking for a set of work emotion xd9s.

Very nice setup! Though I'm curious to why you did not just use an AEM boost solenoid and have you EMS take care of boost controller setting and set up boost per speed. This way you can ramp up boost pressure as you build speed reducing traction issues.

Thats so long ago. A tire blew out on that car and he put it into a wall. Hes was last re building it too be a full out drag car. I believe someone is making 800 on a stock motor now.

Re: My 443whp Stock s2000 Ap1 Turbo Build
Usually what makes a great high rpm N/A motor is opposite for a boosted motor.
Is the F20C the new king of boosted 4 cylinder motor? I know EVO can put down a lot of power. Seems like the STIs starting having problems above 350 rwhp and that motor came from the factory boosted.
Way back in the day when I boosted my fd3s (only 300 rwhp) I could only run maybe 15 minutes at Thunderhill on 100F+ day and then I had to take at least two cool down laps to bring down my temps.
You would have more opportunity on legal track ( no police / traffic ) 30 minutes at time than any where else After every turn is a straight away.
I guess the only good place for 800hp is the salt flats or maybe the las vegas silver start race.
