Kraftwerks C38 supercharged S2K
After a couple of H/T search attempts, I failed to find a thread discussing S2K's equipped with a Kraftwerks Supercharger kit... so let's start one.
Motorvations has a long history of installing and tuning supercharger systems on Honda and Acura vehicles... and even produces boost upgrade products for B, D, and H series Jackson Racing supercharger kits. The Rotrex based kits, from companies like Jackson Racing and Kraftwerks, have improved the supercharger market in recent years, and I am very excited about the evolution of supercharging as we know it. I believe the S2K is a very viable platform for this type of supercharger system, and can create amazing improvements in performance on stock internals with a high level of safety and long-term reliability. It is for this reason that I felt it was a good time to post some results.
Recently, I tuned a 2004 S2K with one of the newer Kraftwerks S2K supercharger kit. The engine was completely stock and healthy, showing 113K on the odometer. The installation included the previously mentioned supercharger kit, Skunk2 Alpha header, HKS dual outlet cat-back, ACT HD/SS clutch kit with AP1 slave cylinder, Hondata K-Pro and Grams 1000cc fuel injectors and fuel pump.
The car was tuned on 93 octane pump gas and revved to 8100 RPM... and tuning was performed on a DynoJet 224c.
It produced 440 wheel HP and 283 ft/lbs. of Torque
I will get a graph posted up Monday or Tuesday for you all to see.
Stay tuned for more...

I haven't had an HKS supercharged S2K on my dyno as of yet to make the comparison... however, my suspicion is that since HKS essentially copied the Rotrex design, they should perform similarly when comparing apples to apples. Unfortunately, (IIRC) the HKS kit uses a C30 sized supercharger and they are only spinning it to very conservative boost pressures/blower speeds, whereas, the Kraftwerks kit is using a C38 sized supercharger and we are spinning them at or near maximum drive speed and elevated boost pressures. A quick internet search provided a dyno sheet showing the HKS kit producing over 130 wheel HP and 60 ft./lbs. LESS than the Kraftwerks kit.
I do have some pics of the car and install that I can post if you all would like to see them. The car appears stock with the exception of an intercooler up front and HKS exhaust tips out back.

Pageviews count for very little these days. With the advent of Google's caching service, and sites like The Wayback Machine... there are tons of unmanned computers out there browsing the web to take snapshots of websites for if/when they're offline. In reality, only about 10-20% of those pageviews will be an ACTUAL human.

Thanks for posting about this S2000 SC kit and the results, very exciting. I haven't been on HT in forever, but I'm making a come back of sorts. .
So, I have an 04 S2000 and have bought the new Kraftwerks kit. I haven't gotten it tuned yet as I'm going through the process of converting the car for the Kpro.
I must say I'm excited about the potential but have been disappointed so far with the product. No tune is available. The AEM ems V2 "tunt" that came with it barely runs the car and killed 2 starters with the "base" map starting "tune." I mean the EMS is good but the supposed "base map" - not so much. (S2000 EMS V2 is for sale btw) Also the kit arrived with quite a few missing parts and some of the instructions were just wrong, and I had to fabricate a way. ..anyway I'm done griping for now. .
The main reason I'm switching to the Kpro is in hopes of passing emissions. Do you have any experience with this?
Also I was hoping to get Ed to tune my car, but it seems he doesn't do civilian cars anymore. Who's the tuner at your place, and where is your shop located? Or do you know of a good Kpro tuner in the Atlanta area? Any help would be appreciated
I'll try to post some pics soon.
