Re: K24 SWAP S2K
troll thread is trolling.
srs though, if you replace the F series in an s2000 with anything that has less than 6 cylinders, you're wasting your ******* time.

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
Why don't you just build an F24?
My buddy blew his F20 from oil starvation problems on his dry sump (not tuned properly.... and rebuilt it with Accord parts with some modification.. 2.4l with a F20 head.. yeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.. true story

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
There are several companies the make F20c to F24c kits using TSX cranks and H22a4 pistons/rods. You need new sleeves for this as the FR stock ones don't have the wall thickness or strength. Am building one for my L7 replica. Data from this NA build on a dyno has indicated over 300 bhp and redline of 9500. Will know more after I get everything built and sorted out.

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
^ false you don't need to sleeve your block. k24 crank, h22 or custom rods and reuse your oem pistons, done. Will also need to notch the block and remove or bend the oil squirters to clear the rods.

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
You're right in the case of stock pistons. In my case I'm going to larger pistons so it is necessary, the FR stock sleeves limit the amount of over bore. Best to you.

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
The why lies in the rules for the class I run in which allow anything under 2.5 liters. The combination of 99 mm stroke and 88.5 mm bore using relatively low cost parts gives me just over 2.4 liters and a very competitive motor for less than $2,000.00 at this point (most of the work is done in my own shop). It takes some time to locate the right parts at a decent price. Best to you, Barry

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
The dyno sheets on similar builds are in the 290-316 HP range. I expect to be on the conservative side for reliability, really like to use only one engine for the season if possible. Best to you.

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
using a k24a2 with stock head and stock cams, will give you less power than the stock f20-f22c engine.
k24a2 with good intake manifold, header useally give about 215-225 whp SAE with a dynojet in a FWD car.
when using this engine in a RWD car the power to wheel is reduce because the drivetrain loss in increase

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
Please read through the previous responses and you will see that I am not using K24 head, cams, or crank. All F20 based with larger cyl sleeves, and Acura TSX crank to achieve already proven dyno numbers much in excess of K24 levels. I have a CR-V and fully understand the limitations. Thanks, best to you.

Re: K24 SWAP S2K
also want to kswap my s2k
when you say stock internals k24 have less hp ... you forget stock k24 on 6000rpm have more! on 4000rpp have a lot more
you are not only use your peak power even if you are the ******* Master(remember tsuchia said he dreams abot k20 was in s2k)
also remember the cost of k24 and f20c (or built f24c compared to built k24)
also remember FRM, timing and other F things
also VTC gives more torque and hp on the boosted engine
k series is evolution of F series No matter f20c is in Guinnes Book

I don't recall telling you how to fix your car though, not really sure where you pulled that from...I mean, did you even read your post before posting it?

Ever see how some sellers or restaurants have hundreds of positive feedback on Facebook, Amazon, UrbanSpoon, Google, etc but those reviewers only have one post and it's a positive one for *that* place?
**** happens all the time. Fake/Fluff accounts are made to give positive reviews.
You had, at the time, ~3-5 posts *total* and your post was:
So BalladeSports, who I actually have parts from (S2k TB) is trash, and I along with everyone else is supposed to take your word for it.
Post count, age of account, and content contributed to forums provides people with validity with statements.
You joined 07/08/15, have 9 posts total, don't even own an S2000 per your own posts, and are in the S2000 section talking trash about a legitimate company where lots of users have purchased parts from.
Really? You're a fan of a swap in a car you don't own using a kit that you haven't purchased or ever used before? Nice.
Of course I don't trust you or your opinion. Everyone else should be equally skeptical.
