Default dealing with dummy air inlets and digital dash

I'm a "trial user" and the owner of a very clean and original black 2003 S2000. It's only my personal opinion but two things keep it from perfection for me. First are the dummy air inlets in front and second the boy racer digital speedometer. Is there a cure for either flaw?

Are you defending the dummy air ducts and the digital dash? I just think both are inconsistent with all the great things about the design.

Just about every car out there has dummy air inlets, or the latest trend, a radiator inlet that is made to look 5 times bigger then it actually is.

On the S2000, some people stick civic foglights in there. Or you can try your hand at fabbing up your own mod to make them useful brake ducts.

Indeed, it's your personal opinion. Others don't share the same opinion. That's why it's an opinion.

You're more than welcome to cut out the bumper vents and install brake ducts, there are several companies that make them (Chargespeed for example) or make your own see here

I like the digital dash and no, there's no direct analog replacements for it. I'm sure you could fabricate something as people with analog dashes swap in S2000 clusters.

The digital dash is bloody handy at the track. I love it.
