Default Bent rear control arm causing camber problems?

This may be an obvious question but secondary opinions never hurt. My friend has a 2007 s2000 and he was involved in an accident about a year ago - it wasn't a collision but he went up the curb sideways. The body shop fixed his car but he never asked me to take a look at it because he hasn't had any problems until now.

He started having some issues and wanted me to take a look at the car. He tells me that when he's driving on the highway at about 70-80mph and is making a slight left he could feel that his rear "swing out" "fishtail" ever so slightly. So I looked at his tires and he has positive camber wear (nothing extreme) on his rear driver side tire. Fronts look perfect. I did some research and found out that s2000's have a tendency to be really sensitive to alignment issues and crappy tires in the rear. Obviously the first thing we did was take it to the alignment shop. They were able to get all the wheels except the driver rear into alignment and able to run slightly negative camber, but they told us that the driver rear will not allow them to adjust to negative camber and is currently sitting at 0.18. I asked them why but they couldn't explain to me... ok, well at least I know there's something wrong.

I took both of the rears wheels off and inspected for bent suspension pieces, bushing, and possible frame damage (accident wasn't bad enough but you never know). I found out that the lower control arm pictured here as figure 11:

205018 011 001 ARM, L. RR. CONTROL

It's slightly bent in an arch. Definitely noticeable. All other pieces looked good.

Finally on with the obvious question. Would this bent piece cause the alignment issues we are experiencing? I imagine that the bowing of the piece is pulling the lower part of the suspension and the wheel inwards not allowing the camber to be adjusted to desired setting. Would simply replacing this with an OEM part be a good option or would something like this be better:

Thanks!

i can not c the pic due to shitty skool computers but the sinple fact that he has posotive camber wear is a sign of the allignment being out of wack he should get it realigned if that dosent help then one of the control arms or toe arms is bent prolly the lower the up rarely get bent unless its a reary realy hard hit

Thanks for the info.
Would an OEM replacement part work just fine or would those GodSpeed arms I posted be better? My friend is eventually planning on getting a coilover setup so I don't know if that factors into the decision at all. I just know that on the 350z if you drop the car a beyond a certain height, it's pretty much mandatory to get some sort of adjustable camber arm. S2K rear geometry is a bit different than the Z because I can see that the camber has to be adjusted on the upper arm itself... if I tell him to get the GodSpeed arms would it then be possible to adjust the camber on them instead of the upper a-arms and avoiding the "bolt/washer" adjustment thus making life easier?

the stock would work fine the godspeed would be a better option if he plans on slamming his car and running decent allignment
