Well yes they are the wrong bolt pattern so they will not work, however if they were the right bolt pattern it would not be hard to get them to fit. You just have to be slammed and roll the rear and maybe run a camber kit in the rear. I run 16x8 +20 all around and all I had to do was roll the rear fenders a lil, but I am tucking tire all around with stretched tires. For the 17x9 +30 you would just have to roll and slightly pull the rear fenders and it would fit perfect slammed tucking stretched tires.

I know its been awhile since you posted this, but do you still remember what size tire you were running?
I currently have enkei racing s rims that i want to put on my bb6 (16x8 +28 offset) and im currently trying to figure out the best tire to fit on them with just rolling the guards. Im trying to see if i can do without a camber kit.

perfect for what?

Stock size is 205/50/16 on 16x6.5 so why the hell would you put an even smaller tire on a much larger rim?

its called tire stretching, heard of it?
if you wanna be slammed with a 8" wide rim then that is the size you want. plus he asked what size white5thgen runs, and i was answering his question.

its perfect for a slammed 5th gen with an 8' wide rim for someone who only wants to roll the guards. that is the size white5thgen runs, and a common size for people running a 8" on a lude. so i was answering his question. its called tire stretching, ever heard of it? try fitting a 225 on a slammed 5th without major fender work
