no, you will need bigger. 550 cc should be fine for low boost, as long as thats all you will boost.

yeah h23s are smaller CC's i can't remember, its like 240 or somewhere around there

i'd go 700cc+

but im an all motor guy...........its better to have bigger injectors than needed

However.

In order to support 450 crank HP, you'll need to have your fuel pressure at ~70psi.

*This is assuming your injector duty cycle won't exceed 80%

If you want to keep the stock fuel pressure ~44psi, you'll need almost 1000cc injectors. If you get an adjustable FPR, up the fuel pressure to 50psi, you can do ~850cc injectors.

For 375 crank hp

At 50psi - 750 will be great

For stock fuel pressure (44-43psi) you'll need 780cc injectors - i think precision makes 780cc.

Remember - this is all at 80% duty cycle. You really don't want exceed that - if you do, do it under rare conditions.

on this subject for aftermarket injectors i see that RC next size up for peak and hold injectors is 550c ? kinda over the top for a NA car... anyone know of any inbetweens

i am guessing i won't need to muck around with resister packs either if i just upgrade from 345cc to 550cc peak and hold injectors

for 12-15 psi 750+ should be good...

try to get as close as you can with some room for error. Example, if you calculated you'll need 550s, look for some 620s or so. The bigger you go, the harder it is to make it idle, because a big injector can only open and close so fast....it will run richer and richer at idle as the injector gets bigger and bigger. For another example, in the RX7 world, we use 850 in the primaries and secondaries for boost up tune cars, then 550's and 1600s secondaries. Otherwise, anything bigger than 850 primaries makes the car run too rich at idle and starets to foul out plugs

Up to 10psi DSM 450cc injectors should be fine but anything past that get 550+

i think i am going to use the stock ecu and the h23 intake manifold to break the motor or i could use my aem ems with the wideband o2

if properly tuned you will be to close to max dutry cycle at 10psi with 450cc,

with my tune at 10pis on 550cc i am approching 85% duty cycle at redline, and on 450cc that would be pretty close to 95% duty cycle.

also before for someone brings up just raise your fuel presure, you need to know that when you raise your fuel presure it puts more of a strain on the injector to open and close. and at higher rpms with a smaller injector and higher fuel press it becomes harder for the injector to keep up. you can end up over loading and buring an injector. just go with a larger injector and a fuel presure of no more than 50 psi max

as far a motor break in goes, just make sure to match the ecu with the injector, h23 = 240cc and you definatly don't want to run overly rich and wash the cylidners down and keep the rings from seating.
