Default .my car is on crack

my stays at 3000 rpms until it comes to a complete stop. Also every once in a while when I hit the accelerator at low rpms it boggs out or cuts off. I have no check engine light at all. Does anyone know what it could be, before I take it to another shop? Thanks
peace

Is it dependant on whether the car is in gear or neutral?

Did this problem just happen out of nowhere? It does sound like you have a vacuum leak of some sort. To check for a leak, you can try getting some brake cleaner and spray it towards your vacuum lines. If there is a leak somewhere, it will suck in some of the cleaner and you will notice the car bog or hesitate a bit. This can be a nice way to find a vacuum leak, if you know that's what you're looking for.

You could still try to retrieve codes from the ecu as they may be stored in memory, just not flashing the CE. How is the idle when you first turn it on?

ok..when Im driving the car is fine but as soon an I take out of gear and its in neutral it jumps to 3000 rpms and stays there till the car stops completely. I dont think there are any vacume leaks cause I just redid alot of the vacume lines. Maybe I missed one though. I'll check. I was thinkingit was something with the IAC or maybe a TPS. Any more ideas? Thanks

Does it feel like something is sticking on the throttle body, or the throttle cable? I had a problem once where my throttle cable was frayed and stuck at random times.

Not to play captain obvious, but if you just redid them; that may answer your question. Vacuum lines can be a PITA sometimes!

Well, an easy way to rule these out would be to confirm their connections. I'm not positive, but I thought without the tps connected, the car will barely run. Anyway, it's quittin' time for me, so i'll check back with you later.
