Default Vtec head torque specs

I took the head off my motor to check to see if it was still good. Does anyone have the torque specs for these. I need all specs.

you are supposed to do it in steps IIRC.

like 25ftlbs, then 50ftlbs then the 76ftlbs.

He didn't ask about the steps, just the specs.

Pffft...people don't blink at spending $500 on an exhaust, but won't spend $65 for a service manual? I don't think I'll ever understand it.

Because simple stuff like that should be well researched before you even took the head off. And seeing how there is also a sequence and pattern for removing the head, we doubt you did that right.

Might want to take you head to check to see if its warped now.

You're right. I do have questions time to time, but not about something like R&R'ing a head. I have a service manual for that. I'm smart enough to know when I need to go to the service manual on how to do something right instead of looking on the interweb for a write up.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't come to the forum on occasion, or bother to post a reply.

Yes, can't you tell it's a technical forum by these kinds of posts??

I wasn't complaining, just making an observation. Your question got answered, so be happy.

When you've spent as much time as I have fixing other peoples' screw ups and other shops' screw ups, maybe you'll understand.
