Throwout bearing? or some bad gears?
so when i am driving there is a whinning noise, it used to be only in 5th gear now its slowly moving down the gears, now it is 3/4th gear and 5th :/ .
it makes the noise when the clutch is engaged and ONLY when pressing the gas, if i let off the gas (while clutch is engaged) there is no noise. if i set my foot on the gas even not pushing it down alot is still does it.
if i push the clutch in and rev the car (while moving) theres no whine till clutch is engaged also
there is no noise at idle either just from what i said above.
thanks!

no it wont seize, bind or shatter. the baring in it will just keep spinning. it might crack after a year of ignoring it.
when did it start making the noise. you have some time on it, but id get it fixed sooner than later.
are you doing the work yourself.

dropping a tranny isnt basic ****. my 1st time doing it, it was hard. and ive done engine swaps before.
a lot of things can break. and you can strip a lot of threads.
just baby the car until you can pay someone to do it for you. labor, youre looking at $400.

Integra 101, it's not that complicated, you don't really break anything. And you only strip threads if you force a bolt into them.
There are plenty of DIY all over Honda-tech and the internet to walk you thru pulling the tranny when the time comes. all you need is a few basic tools and a jack or 2.
