Suspension Problem?????

Suspension Problem?????
OK, got a weird problem I'm hoping somebody can help with. I sometimes get a bad vibration in my 94 VTEC (stock except for an intake) under acceleration. The weird thing is that it almost always only happens after I've been driving for at least an hour or so. It sounds like metal banging together (like a missing bushing etc.) and will really shake the car. I've gotten under it and checked all the bushings etc. and all seem to be in decent shape, no excessive play, etc. All the motor mounts seem to be decent and no excessive movement of the motor. The CV joints and boots are good. Tires are only a couple months old and switching them around makes no difference. The boots on the upper control arms were bad so I changed both arms, still no different.
At constant speed or decelerating, there is no noise or movement. When it is vibrating bad, it does it even cruising around the parking lot, straight or turning either way doesn't matter. When it's vibrating a little bit, it is only under fairly hard acceleration. Then of course, sometimes it's perfect even when under hard acceleration, thus the pain in the *** diagnosis.
Anybody had this problem or have any ideas???

Just wanted to add that the last year or so I've had to drive many really rough roads and also it has started a very slight pull to the left at more or less the same time it started with the previously mentioned problem.

Sounds like your CV Joints are BAD. Even if the boots are good, the joints can go. This would explain why it is only under hard acceleration.
I don't know how to test them short of taking them apart....... maybe someone else can fill us in?

Joints are good. It's intermittent, doesn't matter which way I turn, and can be felt bigtime when it's doing it's thing. Joints sound different and if it's an outside joint will worsen depending on which way you turn.

have you had your alignment checked or tires balanced recently ?
ive seen out of balance tires wobble like you would not believe. Creates and pretty crazy vibration.
