Default start of a slow build/marking my new whip

so ive built a few hondas by far the nices ive owned so im not screwing around gong for quality and this will be slow but i have to fix a few things its a 01 h22a4 not sure model

hot deals needs cash money! id say nice pick for 900!!

first im ocd about **** i like the bags are blown i don't like getting punched in the face and thats the first thing im in search for not looking to spend more then a 100ish used name brand quality since myn looks like **** bag is like glued and ducktaped back in and its just sitting there not bolted in and no horn has to be fixed but i know nothing about them ive always rolled with sock stuff im more go then show but hell first time ive needed a stearing wheel so any ideas!?!

for the hole in the dash someone has put the plug in from another car it looks great im thinken about mounting a tablet in or behind it ruining a tuning system in the future stealthy so if anyone has done this let me hear your 2 cents or i could go hands free and hook up radio and phone ect and mount in the front with a fyberglass spot to sit if you get what im saying.. im just looking at the positives of what i got if anything its a hell of a stash spot lol ive never seen cops try and pull on the air bag haha there dumb if they do lol!!!!!! i will delete the srs system completely in the next few days so i plan to post pictures but if you want ill do write ups and **** just depends if theres interest so bust my *** for pics i love doing it but not if its for noting lol!!

so get to the niddy gritty i payed 900 for an 01 prelude pearl white had a front end collision cant tell other then the bumper is white not pearl rear has a small crack and chip on tail light no idea what happend and not sure if its salvaged im getting the title thursday.. but it wasnt running my majic hands somehow fix some bad connection he had that caused it not to run for 4 years so lets hope it stays running i hear h eninges are sensitive big bitches lol!! it had 90psi 90psi then 60psi so **** i didnt check the last one didnt have fuel or spark fucked with all kinda **** the whole check list then poped some new fusees in and it fired up after a night of a couple caps of oil in the cylinder it was sitting for 4 years walls got dry 139k miles i hope its still in good shape!! sounded healthy and the diagnostics were straight lol it was trick i used once and it worked again hell ran great today after the oil burned out had it hooked up to a bullshit tuning system on my dads phone pretty much just shows specs of everything going on everywhere cant mod anything but it was perfect o2 sensor was trippen from the oil but it cleared up tomorrow ill detail and take for a small cruse to see how its running but ill have a grand or so in the next few weeks after a few trades mind you im jobless right now i buy and sell **** since i could walk lol so i ended up with this deal and some money to fix it up until i get a job this is all i can do haha sucks for a young guy with a fucked up back 70mph wreck at work not my fault it was a last second thing i might have to do dissability but **** it just need to find my nitch stay out of the system in this world **** i worked at a machine shop for 4 years and have been around cars my whole live went to school for it im not saying i can do everything but **** all i need is the tools some beers and blunts now that i dont have the shop but i have **** that will make do for now so pictures this is for now just seeing whats the vibes now days on hondatech and the love for the cars **** its been a few years since ive been on here steady so give me a reason to stay lol!!

only engine shot for now i went threw everything lol was last resort pulling valve cover and checking timeing its dead on! it needs cleaned and tucked and fucked so its going to get a little crazy with some paint valve cover and possibly other **** i got it and the skillz!! ima try and blow your mind i have access to a air brush gun and ive never done this so might take a few tryes but im thinken some trippy **** or na who knows if i cant my boy does some dope **** i wont call it he will get all the credit im even thinken some big piece under the hood love the graffiti sneaky under the hood of a clean *** car its going to stay all stock and just be lowered later on before any big power adding **** goes on ill get interrior pics its clean ill be wrapping the head liner when i get some fabric or hell air brush once again lol tryn to put my mark on this **** show my style of a car hell hope to one day make this car into something known lol no bullshit honda for life ill try not to sell this one but **** happens lol so ill take the **** or the likes till next time my fingers feel like jellyfish!! duces!! and sorry if this is in the wrong area if it needs to be moved to appearance builds do so pls sorry!!

Looks like you have some work cut out for you, especially if you want to do it right.

I don't know if you are posting from a phone or something, but trying to read that gave me a headache, try breaking it up into discernable paragraphs, and more people will pay attention to it.

Be prepared for lots of trips to the stealership and parts store(s). They will definitely know you by name when you walk in hahah. You'd be surprised how many parts need replacing in a neglected car. I hope you took a good look at the back of the block because that can be a nasty surprise even if the front looks good.

You think initially, oh yeah I can change this and that and it will be good to go. Nope, it just doesn't work that way when some ******* neglects a car to near hoopty status. It's a shame really.

Take my word for it, you will HAVE to go over EVERY system (engine/trans/cooling/electrical/exhaust/aesthetics/suspension/etc) in the car. It's a long road, alot of time in the shop and will cost more than the car is worth to get it to that level where it should be. I'm currently revamping a '92 right now and it's been a headache. But I've learned more about cars since owning this prelude. Each part that's replaced/fixed/cleaned makes the car safer and performs better. Breathing new life into an older car so to say.

In my mind, if no one saves these cars and they all rot away and get rat bagged by cheap ******** who don't fix them properly, there won't be any left. I know 4th and 5th ludes didn't go over that well. Here in North America nor Japan, but there's something alluring about these 4th gen preludes.

Good luck

oh sweet up dates well i got insurance on the car and took it to town got it inspected and talked to the guy for a while they loved my car!! well i noticed after the fuel treatment and half tank of new gas its running a lot better but still sluggish and staling when i take of its chattering like the clutch is bad witch i wouldn't doubt it more the reason for aftermarket clutch and flywheel lots of weirdness that shouldn't happen with no codes then bam im on my way home it threw codes and wouldnt let me get over 3 grand well its the cps i guess it needs replaced or just messed with might be a bad connection or loose bolts happen on my sisters car and it ate the face off the sensor! but anyways ill be starting on this stuff first before anything has to be road worthy!
