Some boosted prelude vids for your viewing pleasure ;)
Went out and played a bit last night, the vids aren't the greatest quality seeing as they were filmed at night, but still fun to watch regardless Oh, and these aren't REAL vids, we made them up and the people are actors, because as everyone knows, you shouldn't street race.
Here is one of me being a jackass and forgetting that power+FWD+turning=not-being-able-to-turn-and-almost-hitting-a-curb (I was planning to just do a burnout):
http://www.solid-technology.com/movi..._film_this.wmv
Me versus a Type-R with an Intake and Header:
http://www.solid-technology.com/movi...v_integrar.wmv
Another one:

Me versus our 2000 LS1 Z28 with a couple mods running off the bottle:
http://www.solid-technology.com/movi...urbo_v_z28.wmv
And versus the LS1 on the bottle (100 shot wet):
http://www.solid-technology.com/movi..._v_z28_n2o.wmv
The camaro wasting some tires (the orange eclipse is a customer car, big 20G with an AEM standalone tuned by us......288 whp 305 tq uncorrected):
http://www.solid-technology.com/movies/roast_em.wmv
And a mustang that thought he was cool.......until he got OWNED! I punch it in 3rd from like 2000 rpms....lol....I think it was a GT with bolt-ons, but he revved on us and was asking for it:
http://www.solid-technology.com/movies/ownedstang.wmv
Hope you guys like them......as soon as we get a damn dragstrip around here I'll be able to make some better vids! They closed it down like 3 years ago, but the land commissioner has promised to reopen it within the next 70 days.....

No 1/4 mile times as of yet, we haven't had a dragstrip open where I live for the last 3-4 years or so......I ran the car N/A with an intake before it closed and did a 16.3 on some shitty all season tires Our guess right now is like 13.0's on street tires and mid 12's (maybe low 12's) with slicks and traction....
I'll try to get some shots of the tach next time.....it's hard because once the tires break loose it's like a battle to stay off the limiter and shift Also, I shift like crap, my friend drove the car later (the one who was filming) and he is a much better driver (he's had all kinds of cars, one of which was a low 12's high 11's 1G DSM).....so I need improvement there

those are sweet. I can't wait for my car to be done. I have to rebuild the engine though. I'm too chicken $hit to boost 7-9 psi on my stock h23a. I've got 96,+++ miles on it now.

Nope, it's not a built motor yet
You need the latest version of Windows Media Player (it's 9 I think) to see them.....

Damn those are nice vids. Do you think yours is faster than Frisbee's was? Very nice by the way.

Yeah, I heard in one of your videos where it sounded like you didn't shift correctly. The one where you raced the Integra from from second gear.
Keep the videos coming. They are cool to watch.

Re: Some boosted prelude vids for your viewing pleasure ;) (SpdFrk)
Best kill so far wasn't actually a kill
We were out tuning the car a little (still hadn't put the timing back in it) and Myself and 2 friends (Sean, my partner at the shop and the main tuner, and Ryan, a friend with a fast 1G DSM) ran into a brand new 911 TT being driven by this older guy.....he tries blowing by me just to show off at like 60mph (I was goin 50), and to his surprise I catch him really quick, so we line up and go from a 40 mph 2nd punch, and by 110 mph or so he had me by a car
I ask Sean after the race "So what did my A/F look like through the run" and he was like "Who knows, I was looking at the Porsche right next to us".....LOL!
I'm not gonna make any judgements compared to Fris's prelude When he's tuned and ready, we'll race......that way nobody hears rumors or anything till it's on film
Interior and Exterior pics will be on the website soon hopefully.......

Yeah, in the one vid where I raced the 'teg R from an almost-stop, I had crazy traction loss, which makes it hard to shift right......I spun them in first, then got into second and was still spinning them, but not complete traction loss (good 'ole quaife!), then I finally got into third and pulled him (still spinning a little)...
I'm not used to traction loss yet after being N/A for so long

Props dude! Sorry to any domestic-lovers that I might offend, but I really REALLY hate 'Stangs so you know that I just enjoyed the **** out of that vid. I applaud your willpower man, I don't think I could resist shitting on them at will every chance I got.
I know everyone's not a fan of dyno numbers, but do you know what you're putting down? I for one would be interested in getting a look-see...

Re: Some boosted prelude vids for your viewing pleasure ;) (FinalFlash)
Dynos and a page for the prelude are finally up on the site Remember those dynos were done a day after the car was finished, so no tuning at all and it was missing (blowing out spark since the plugs were at .38 )
http://www.solid-technology.com and then click on the prelude page
One dyno was like 261.5 whp and like 208 tq, and another was a couple more hp but less tq, I put up the 261.5 one......
Corrected whp was 311 More vids should be coming next weekend........
